Tithing: Fleecing the Flock
The Religion Tax
A theocracy is a form of government with the lawful right to tax its citizens. Ancient Israel was a theocracy with a flat tax. The word “tithe” (meaning a tenth) describes the amount of that tax. The destruction of the temple and Jerusalem ended the theocracy of ancient Israel, and its system of taxation / tithe.
Governments have the right to impose a tax; religions do not! Notwithstanding, theologians lead their followers to believe that paying the tax of ancient Israel will get them in solid with God.
The religious tax bill for a believer with an annual income of twenty thousand dollars, is two thousand – one hundred thousand dollars income – ten thousand. There are no limits in either direction. The tax bill for believers, who earn a million dollars is one hundred thousand a year. Even parishioners on Welfare are told that God expects them to pay ten percent of their check, which amounts to “robbing widows and orphans.” Ez. 22:7.
If you are not in a religion, you may think this only hurts those foolish enough to pay; therefore, you don’t have to be concerned. I assure you that someone in your family is being bilked by these mindless attempts to relive the history of ancient Israel. In some cases, the money is used to fund terrorism, or to settle the lawsuits of children sexually abused by pedophile theologians or celibate priests. In all cases: it is at best a mistake, and at worst a scam.
No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon (money.) Mat. 6:24.
Religion has no God; consequently, it cannot exist without other peoples money. Think and Go Free.
DO NOT PAY THE RELIGION TAX / TITHE.
God does not need your money. Give it to your family.
Tithing, aka the guilt tax, is the second biggest money swindle in human history!
What’s The Biggest? The Progressive Income Tax. Note to politicians: if voters figure out why God likes a Flat Tax, the party is over! It made Israel the richest people of the ancient world.
The Tenth Commandment that God gave to the ancient Israelites says:
Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour’s house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour’s wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour’s. Exodus 20:17.
The progressive income tax is the system that liberal / atheistic governments use to make the coveting of thy neighbor’s money legal / “moral.”
A flat tax unifies society and encourages charitable giving. A progressive tax instigates envy and makes citizens feel that they have already been forced to be charitable; thereby, destroying one of our most noble human attributes.
If a charity fails to produce results the public will withhold donations, and it will go out of business. If a government welfare program fails to produce results, there are no consequences. Politicians will merely call for higher taxes to expand that program in the budget.
Governments Will Never be able to get Citizens to Embrace Taxation!
Charity makes givers feel noble; taxation makes them feel plundered. Politicians should follow the example of the ancient Israelites, and promote equality and prosperity through a flat tax, and our better angels through charitable giving.

Know this: if your religion tells you not to consider opposing views, question their interpretation of the Bible, or to think for yourself, it is not of God.
Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try (test) the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. 1John 4:1.
That warning from God includes your religion. See the link, Religion: Truth vs. Myths, on the navigator.
Any religion formulated after the destruction of the temple and fall of Jerusalem in a.d.70 is a construct of the false prophets. They are not evil; they are sincerely wrong.
